Individual Feeding, Sleep and Rest Routines
We understand how important familiar routines are for babies and their families.
Our educators work closely with parents to understand each baby’s individual feeding, sleeping and comfort needs, helping maintain consistency between home and childcare.
Rather than expecting every baby to follow the same schedule, rest and sleep are supported according to each child’s individual needs.
We also welcome and support breastfeeding families, with a quiet space available for breastfeeding and appropriate storage for expressed breast milk.
Our goal is to create a comfortable, reassuring environment where babies feel supported throughout their day.
Learning Through Play and Exploration
Babies are naturally curious, learning about their surroundings through their senses, movement and interactions with others.
Our Baby Program embraces play-based and inquiry-based learning, providing opportunities for children to explore, experiment and discover at their own pace.
Through age-appropriate experiences, our educators encourage:
-
Sensory exploration: Discovering different textures, sounds, colours and materials.
-
Physical development: Supporting movement, coordination and emerging motor skills.
-
Language and communication: Encouraging early communication through talking, singing, stories and responsive interactions.
-
Social and emotional development: Building secure relationships, confidence and a sense of belonging.
-
Curiosity and discovery: Providing opportunities for babies to explore their environment and develop an early love of learning.
Our learning experiences are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), supporting each child’s development through meaningful play and positive relationships.
